You can quickly learn how to take advantage of your Compulsory Traffic Insurance following a traffic accident, by following these 5 easy steps:

After the accident, you must document the damage by filling in the Accident Identification Record, or have it recorded. If you have the opportunity, take photos of the accident from different angles.

Immediately call the Aksigorta Service Centre on 444 27 27 to notify us of the accident. 

3- Take your car to the nearest contracted service

You can take your car to the closest contracted service of Aksigorta, or to any service you choose if these are not nearby.

You must provide the necessary documentation to the service or the Head Office of Aksigorta. See below a list of the documents that you need to supply.

You should always follow up your claim, which can be done by calling the Aksigorta Service Centre at 444 27 27, or online at benimaksigortam.

Required Information and Documents

Here is a list of the documents and information required to be submitted to the Head Office of Aksigorta, following a traffic accident:

Required Information and Documents

  • Traffic accident investigation report (Click to download)
  • Car licence of the damaged car (deed if it is a building, operating licence if it is a workplace)
  • Court expert's report or invoice if there is no insurance claims investigator assigned
  • The notice issued by the public notary regarding the compensation paid by the insured person to the third person with the consent of Aksigorta (Releases the insurance company, insured vehicle's owner and the driver)
  • Court order, execution order and collection receipt for compensation paid by court decision.

Note: For precautionary financial liability/personal accident policies covered by the Compulsory Traffic Insurance, you should send the information and documents to bedenihasarihbar@aksigorta.com.tr
