Responsible Investment

At Aksigorta, we have taken another important step toward considering environmental and social impact throughout our value chain. In line with the Sabancı Holding Responsible Investment Policy, and with the aim of enhancing our Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) performance and contribution to the Sustainable Development Goals, we have completed the due diligence process by conducting ESG risk analyses for all companies in our investment portfolio.

Based on publicly available information, we assessed the ESG risks of all portfolio companies according to the countries and sectors in which they operate, as well as in accordance with the 10 Principles of Business Conduct of the UN Global Compact. Taking the outcomes of the due diligence process into account, we have established the following action plan:

1. By the end of 2025, we aim to divest from all companies that operate in prohibited sectors or are included on the restricted sectors, companies, and activities list.

2. By 2030, we will adopt a proactive engagement approach with companies classified as high-risk, sharing development areas and supporting improvements in their ESG performance.

3. We will continue to regularly monitor and assess the ESG performance of companies classified as medium and low risk.

With this three-stage roadmap, we aim to address ESG risks more effectively and support the companies in our investment portfolio throughout their sustainability journeys.

Responsible Customer

At Aksigorta, we integrate our sustainability approach not only into our investment activities, but also into our customer relationships. Within this framework, by the end of 2025, we will monitor the sustainability performance of our corporate customers that are identified as having high ESG risks. Through collaboration, we aim to identify improvement areas and support our customers in taking positive actions toward sustainability.

With our responsible customer approach, we adopt a sustainability-driven mindset to enhance our contribution to society and the environment. Each year, we engage with our customers on environmental and social topics, encouraging them to take concrete steps toward achieving their sustainability goals. We commit to reassessing our relationships with customers who do not cooperate in improving their ESG performance or fail to comply with our sustainability standards.

Through both our responsible investment and responsible customer portfolio approaches, Aksigorta will continue to increase its environmental and social impact.
