The Human Resources Department practices Performance Management, Career Planning and extensive
trainings to increase Aksigorta employees' motivation and efficiency; and to promote their self-development.
| A) PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT : |
Performance Management is a process for establishing shared understanding about what is to be achieved.
At the beginning of the year, priority objectives, lined up with company business plans are set up
for each job. Each employee's performance is evaluated 2 times a year according to the pre-identified
performance measures. The outcomes of the Performance Evaluation provide input for other personnel
functions such as training needs analysis, career planning, compensation and promotions.
The insurance sector is a continuously developing and promising business field
with high career opportunities.Aksigorta makes career plans for its employees
to satisfy their self-actualization needs and gives equal promotion opportunities
in line with their personal goals.
Aksigorta is a school where employees are continuously trained to
develop their technical and interpersonal skills in their career paths.
Agency trainings, consisting of two stages called "Agency Basic Training" and "Agency Technical Training" are
realised in the General Management and Regional Offices throughout the year.
Orientation Programs are organised to introduce
the organizational structure, culture and policies to the employees following their recruitment.
Technical trainings are implemented to improve the technical skills and knowledge
of our employees that would help them do their job more effectively; and to acquire
the necessary knowledge / skills in case of job rotations and promotions.
Trainings organised by Sabanci Holding to develop knowledge / skills /
competencies of the employees and at the same time ensuring cooperation
and information sharing among managers and employees of the Group
Our employees participate also in the training programs organised by consulting firms
based on their performance evaluation outputs and the training needs analysis.
| D) COMPENSATION and OTHER BENEFITS; |
Aksigorta implements a fair and competitive compensation policy, based on performance
evaluation outcomes and sector conditions. The compensation package consists of salary,
4 bonuses and foreign language compensation. Aksigorta offers also lunch and transportation
facilities to its employees. The Social Commit tee consisting of our employees organises several
"moral-booster" activities to bring employees together outside the work context.
